Overview
A full-stack food delivery platform built from scratch — a Customer App, a Restaurant Portal, and a real-time backend all working together to move an order from browse to delivery.
Problem It Solves
The biggest challenge wasn't just building three separate apps, but getting them to talk to each other instantly and reliably. Managing the 'state' of an order across the entire platform is a fascinating logistics and data problem.
Key Features
- Customer App — browse menus, cart, address, payment, live order tracking
- Restaurant Portal — kitchen control panel to accept/reject orders and set prep times
- Backend & database — auth, restaurant data, order processing, payment gateway webhooks
- Real-time push notifications between kitchen and customer via WebSockets / FCM
